The café traveler

The rich volcanic soil at Kona on the big island of Hawaii has made the destination a Mecca for cafe travelers.  We went to visit the small plantations where locals are growing coffee on trellises like grapes and harvesting beans that are 25% larger than normal.

We’ll tell that story another time because after plenty of imported Argyle wine from neighboring USA and local guava with Marcus Marcus; we became enchanted with his café and the Hawaiian musicians who frequent it.
